Succulents

Lighting Requirements
Succulents enjoy bright, indirect light. If your succulent is beginning to look leggy or like it is stretching towards the light, it may not be receiving enough light.

Watering Needs
Succulents do not need to be watered frequently. Only water once the top few inches of soil have dried out.

Humidity
Succulents do not generally require extra humidity, and will do just fine in arid environments.

Temperature Preferences
Succulents are known for being hardy as desert plants, they are happy in a temperature range from 40 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Fertilizer
Succulents only need to be fertilized about once a month during the growing season, and even less in the winter. For succulents it is best to use either a succulent or cacti specific fertilizer, since they have slightly different nutrient requirements from leafy plants.

Pet-Friendly
Yes, most succulents are considered non-toxic to pets!

Extra Care
Succulents propagate easily. If part of your plant breaks off you can lay it on top of the soil and continue watering, they will often grow new roots!
