Tillandsias, also known as "air plants", do not require soil to grow. The Bulbosa variety are known for their unique other-worldly appearance, with leaves that are tentacle-like. Due to the leaves of this species being smooth, they have less trichomes and require more frequent watering that other air plant species. This species also blooms vibrant purple flowers.
Air plants enjoy high-humidity environments, and will thrive best with occasional misting and a "bath" once a week. Make sure to turn the air plant upside down and drain after a 20-30 minute soak. Learn More
