Return policy: Soil & Clay currently offers store credit on all products, with the exception of “sale” items that are final sale less any costs associated with shipping. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. 

How long will it take for my order to ship?

The shipping and processing times depend on the items you're ordering. The status of each product (backordered, made to order or in stock) is indicated on each individual product page, as well as the estimated shipping date.

What does Backordered mean?

When items are on backorders it means we don’t currently have it on hand, but it’s coming soon! You can still purchase backorder items to ensure you are first in line to receive them when they are back in stock. A Soil & Clay team member will also reach out and notify you of any delays in shipment due to backorders. Don’t worry, most backordered items take 5-10 days to be ready for shipment.

Lost or stolen packages:
 If a package is lost or damaged in transit, it is the responsibility of the customer to request a claim via USPS or whatever courier service was used. Soil & Clay 
is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once scanned into the courier system.

**Once a package has left our facility, Soil & Clay will no longer be responsible for the package. We cannot control clearance, lost or stolen packages, and/or delayed “out for delivery” times. Please contact the provided shipping company to assist with these issues as our team cannot. We typically ship with Fedex**

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

We do not currently allow orders to be shipped to more than 1 address. To do so, we ask that you please place these orders separately to the respective addresses.

What do I do if my package was not delivered? Please contact the carrier for further information. Soil & Clay is not responsible for lost or stolen packages as we do not have control over the package once it has left our facility. We do offer, for an additional charge, the option to have a signature release of the package to ensure the item arrives safely to its new home. We suggest using this option.

Return policy: Soil & Clay currently offers store credit on all products, with the exception of “sale” items that are final sale less any costs associated with shipping. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. Your return must be sent within 14 days of your receipt of the ordered merchandise.  Item(s) must be in original unused condition, and all tags, cards, boxes and/or pouches must be included with your return. If you fail to send your return in 14 days from the shipped date, your return request will be voided.

Lost or stolen packages: If a package is lost or damaged in transit, it is the responsibility of the customer to request a claim via FedEx or USPS or whatever courier service was used. Soil & Clay is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once scanned into the courier system.

Return Costs:  Soil & Clay will not be responsible for return shipping charges. If the item you received is incorrect or damaged then Soil & Clay will cover all shipping costs. Live plants are NOT available for return or exchanges. For all other returns, we, unfortunately, will not cover the return shipping costs.

Cancelations: Soil & Clay does not accept order cancellations. We reserve our product availability based on the order in which items are placed. 

Exchanges: We do accept exchanges only for store credit within the 30 day period. We do not provide product for product exchanges. We do not provide exchanges for live goods.

Any merchandise in its original packaging you would like to return for an exchange (less original & return shipping) must be sent back to Soil & Clay within 30 business days of receipt of product. Item must be received within 21 days of return request. Return shipping is non-refundable. 

All international returns are responsible for return shipping.

 *Please note that there will be a $10 charge if you fail to return your item(s) back with all of the original packaging.

Please allow up to 15 business days for your exchange or return to be processed. Business days are Monday-Friday with the exception of federal holidays.
